*Individual MUST have AM and PM availability daily, shift typically run from 7AM-3PM and 2-10:30PM

Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose:
Greet and assist guests arriving and departing from the Hotel.  Assist with loading and unloading of luggage into and from guests’ vehicles, ordering taxi cabs, as well as answering general questions and providing directions.

  1. Welcomes and assists guests’ according to PLATNIUM SERVICE Standards.
  2. Providing an excellent first impression to guests
  3. Maintains a presence in the Front Drive throughout the hours of the shift.
  4. Greets all guests courteously, using the guest’s name whenever possible. Assist with the coordination of the arrivals and departures on the front drive including assisting the valet and bellman with calling cars, processing tickets and directions.
  5. Demonstrates PLATNIUM SERVICE Standards in all interactions.
  6. Remains observant and responds to each guest who passes through entrances.
  7. Assists Housekeeping in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the Hotel Lobby and Entry way.
  8. Follows Hotel’s telephone etiquette standards.
  9. Follows Occupational Health & Safety regulations in accordance with OSHA regulations
  10. Reports suspicious people, behavior, and vehicles to Security
  11. Ensures adherence to Code of Ethics

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
 
  • Ability to arrive to work on time and when scheduled.
  • Ability to stand on feet up to 8 hours a day and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills
  • Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours.
