Facilities Custodian

Performs a variety of skilled and unskilled tasks in the custodial care and maintenance of all City buildings.

1. Must be 18 years or older and graduation form a high school or GED equivalent.
2. Thorough knowledge of custodial equipment, materials, supplies, and their proper and safe usage.
3. Working knowledge of minor repair techniques and occupational safety practices.
4. Skilled in operating and maintaining custodial machinery, tools, and equipment.
5. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
7. Ability to follow instructions, policies, and procedures accurately.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising sound judgment.
9. Ability to establish effective working relationships and adapt to changing environments while maintaining attention to detail.
10. CDL certification
