Tax Associate

Audubon is currently seeking an entry level Tax Associate to join our team in the Houston, TX office. This is a part-time, entry-level position for college students who want to learn how a corporate tax team works. No tax or accounting experience is needed. We provide all training. What matters most is that you're reliable, curious, and eager to learn.

• →Support the tax team with data entry and spreadsheet updates
• →Gather, organize, and file documents (electronic and paper)
• →Help prepare materials for senior team members
• →Follow up with colleagues to collect missing information
• →Assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks
• →Learn tax processes step by step through on-the-job training

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

• →All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:
• →Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
• →Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
• →Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• →Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements

• Junior or Senior at a four-year University in the Houston area
• Pursuing a business-related degree
• Willing to learn, take direction, and ask questions
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Clear communicator
• Comfortable with basic Excel and Microsoft Office
