Responsibilities

→Design and build software components that power Auger's supply chain solutions, including real-time data pipelines, APIs, and AI-powered tools.
→Solve real technical challenges in scalability, performance, and data integration, from optimizing logistics algorithms to improving platform responsiveness.
→Work closely with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to ship solutions that hold up beyond the first customer.
→Own your projects end to end, gaining hands-on exposure to cloud computing, AI, and modern software practices along the way.
→Ship work that matters. Your code runs in production, powering decisions for global businesses in the world of logistics and beyond.

Specific qualifications we are looking for:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of professional software development experience, with expertise in Java or Python.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
Experience building scalable SaaS platforms or enterprise applications.
Ability to work in person from our Bellevue headquarters, and to participate in on-call rotations.
Comfort working through ambiguity with urgency, patience, and good humor.
A track record of building things on your own time, whether side projects, open-source contributions, or anything that shows you love to build and learn.
Knowledge of supply chain systems or logistics is a plus, as is familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), databases (SQL or NoSQL), or real-time streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink).

Your initial placement within our salary range will be based on your experience, qualifications.

The base pay range for this role is $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
