Cost Engineer

• →Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects based on scope and specifications.
• →Monitor and control project costs, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• →Collaborate with project teams to develop financial forecasts and cash flow projections.
• →Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization and value engineering.
• →Maintain comprehensive cost documentation and ensure accurate cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• →Assist in contract negotiations and change order management with clients and subcontractors.
• →Utilize cost control software and tools to track expenses and support project financial management.
• →Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to cost management.

• →Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related discipline.
• →Proven experience as a Cost Engineer or in a similar cost management role.
• →Strong knowledge of cost control techniques, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• →Proficient in cost management software and MS Office applications.
• →Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• →Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams.
• →Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• →Professional certification in cost engineering or project management is a plus.
