• →Perform regular inspections, servicing, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles to ensure operational safety.
• →Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and resolve faults efficiently.
• →Conduct preventative maintenance tasks including brake, tire, and fluid checks.
• →Maintain clear and detailed maintenance records for all vehicles serviced.
• →Collaborate with other team members to meet deadlines and manage workloads effectively.
• →Stay updated with industry standards, vehicle technologies, and health and safety practices.
• →Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and environmental regulations.

• →Professional qualification or completed apprenticeship in HGV Mechanic or vehicle repair.
• →Demonstrable experience working as an HGV Mechanic, preferably within a fleet environment.
• →Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• →Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment related to heavy vehicle maintenance.
• →Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• →Good communication skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• →Valid UK driving license and certifications applicable to HGV maintenance and repair.
