Responsibilities

→ Apply plaster, render, cement, and other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
→ Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, levelling, and applying bonding agents where required.
→ Mix plaster, mortar, and rendering materials to the correct consistency.
→ Apply and finish plaster using trowels, floats, and other hand tools.
→ Carry out internal and external plastering and rendering work.
→ Repair cracks, holes, damaged surfaces, and existing plasterwork.
→ Install and finish plasterboard, mesh, beads, and other associated materials where required.
→ Ensure surfaces are smooth, level, even, and ready for painting or other finishes.
→ Read and work from construction drawings and specifications.
→ Work closely with other trades and site supervisors to meet project requirements.
→ Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organised.
→ Follow site health and safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.

Proven experience as a Plasterer in construction.
Good knowledge of plastering, rendering, and surface preparation techniques.
Ability to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
Ability to read basic construction drawings and measurements.
Experience with both internal and external plastering is an advantage.
Good attention to detail and workmanship.
Physically fit and able to work at heights where required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant plastering qualification, apprenticeship, or trade certification is an advantage.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
