Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and testing plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair hot and cold water systems, drainage systems, and sanitary ware.

• Fit and connect pipework using a variety of materials including copper, plastic, and steel.

• Install and maintain bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, sinks, showers, and associated fixtures.

• Diagnose faults and carry out plumbing repairs efficiently.

• Conduct leak detection, pressure testing, and system inspections.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building plans.

• Install and service water heaters, cylinders, pumps, valves, and related plumbing equipment.

• Experience reading technical drawings and specifications.

• Ensure plumbing systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and building codes.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency call-out repairs where required.

• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and inspections carried out.

• Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised.

• Liaise professionally with customers, contractors, site managers, and colleagues.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience working as a plumber.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and installation techniques.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing faults effectively.

• Experience reading technical drawings and specifications.

• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
