Steel Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding structural steel components for various construction projects. The successful candidate must have a strong background in steel fabrication techniques and be able to interpret engineering drawings accurately. Responsibilities:

1.       Fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

2.       Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including but not limited to welding machines, cutting torches, grinders, drills, and saws.

3.       Interpret Tekla technical drawings and shop drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of steel components.

4.       Measure, cut, shape, and fit steel plates, beams, columns, and other structural members using appropriate tools and equipment.

5.       Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.

6.       Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

1.       Certification in structural steel fabrication is strongly preferred.

2.       Proven experience as a structural steel fabricator.

3.       Strong knowledge of structural steel materials, fabrication techniques, and welding processes.

4.       Extensive experience in operating and maintaining fabrication tools and equipment, including welding machines, cutting torches, and grinders.

5.       Proficient in various welding techniques, such as MIG and stick welding.

6.       Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

7.       Strong attention to detail to delivering high-quality work.
