Business Process Consultant - Quality Management

About This Position

·         Subject Matter Expert level experience in vendor and contract management and digital self-service platforms.

·         Experience in driving process improvement projects.

·         Experience in identifying business strategies, objectives and planning, development and management processes.

·         Experience in researching methodologies, providing cost/benefit analysis and/or statistics and financial models.

·         Experience in negotiating project and program initiatives.

·         Experience in using interpersonal skills to engage all stakeholders and facilitate accurate requirements to capture and manage stakeholder expectations.

The purpose of this position is to support process improvement projects related to City of Austin Utilities application of enhancements for Energy Efficiency Customer Platforms and contract management of various products within our portfolio.

This position will:

- work with key stakeholders to determine requirements and costs associated with contractual hours and spend associated with system improvements.

- facilitate performance discussions with vendors to evaluate project execution.

- be responsible for identifying key performance measures and metrics.

• This position is categorized as Essential Personnel with the City of Austin. Essential staff are required to work during emergencies or bad weather if they are scheduled to work and, in some cases, when they are not scheduled. Essential employees ensure the continuance of key operations to maintain the safe delivery of electric service for the City of Austin.
• Work hours may include after hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Shifts may change according to departmental needs.
• Employee may be required to work additional hours outside of regular work schedule.
