About This Position
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Serve as the Designated Employer Representative (DER) for the CDL Program
- →Support the CDL Program and the City’s Alcohol & Drug Testing Program
- →Maintain and support the AIM on Target Employee Relations database
- →Monitor CAIU referrals and track required actions
- →Assist with Employee Relations performance metrics
- →Review policies and regulations to ensure compliance
- →Recommend process improvements and best practices
Monday – Friday.
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Hours may vary due to operational needs. An alternative schedule and remote work/telework options are available, but the position requires a minimum of 40% per week in the office standard.
Requirements
~1 min readThis position requires a Valid Texas Class C driver's license or the ability to acquire one by your hire date. External New Hires must meet the City of Austin's Driver Record Evaluation (DRE) requisite. To be considered for a driving position, applicants cannot have more than three moving violations or a total of six Driver Record Evaluation points within a period of thirty-six (36) months.
