Senior User Experience Designer

Lead end-to-end design of user-centric shared experiences across browser, native mobile, and desktop clients from problem framing and information architecture through to high-fidelity interfaces with a systems lens that considers how patterns scale across teams and products

Bring particular rigour to AI-powered interactions — conversational interfaces, agentic workflows, and intelligent suggestions around trust, transparency, error recovery, and setting appropriate user expectations

Use AI-assisted design tools fluently generative prototyping, AI-accelerated iteration, code-adjacent tooling as a core part of your design process, not an afterthought

Contribute to the Weave design system by identifying reusable patterns, contributing documentation, and helping publish shared experiences to the Weave Extended library

Communicate design rationale clearly across a distributed, global team, and model rigorous, constructive feedback in design reviews
Requirements
~1 min readBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of commercial UX design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, systems-level work, and research-informed decision-making
Deep Figma expertise across components, variables, prototyping, and Dev Mode; familiarity with Code Connect or design-to-code workflows is a plus
Strong communicator and collaborator — able to articulate design rationale to engineers, product managers, and senior stakeholders, and to work effectively across a distributed, global team
Experience or strong instinct for designing AI-powered products, particularly the challenges of trust, transparency, error recovery, and progressive disclosure of model behaviour
Fluency with AI-assisted design tools - generative prototyping, LLM-based workflows, code-generation tooling - and the judgment to know when human decision making must take precedence
Experience designing for technically sophisticated or professional users, where deep domain knowledge and complex workflows shape the design challenge
