Sr Technical Specialist, Emerging Solutions, Water

Autodesk is looking for an experienced water-industry professional to join our Autodesk Water Infrastructure (AWI) team in EMEA as a Senior Technical Specialist.
This is a customer-facing technical sales role for someone who understands the water industry, can connect customer challenges with technology and workflows, and demonstrate the measurable business value AWI solutions can deliver.
You'll work alongside our Water Sales Specialists throughout the customer journey, acting as the technical subject matter expert assisting new sales growth of our operational analytics, asset management and modelling technologies across the EMEA region. You'll engage directly with customers to understand their business and technical challenges, lead discovery and solution development, and demonstrate how AWI technologies can help them improve the way they plan, design, operate and manage water infrastructure.
Combining deep industry expertise with strong communication and technical skills, you'll lead workshops, solution demonstrations, technical validation and pilot projects, helping customers build confidence in both the technical and business value of AWI solutions. We offer hybrid contracts with no minimum office days.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Professional experience within the water and wastewater sector, with knowledge of water-industry processes, challenges and technical workflows
- →Practical experience and strong technical background in the application of asset management, operational analytics or hydraulic modelling and/or digital twin solutions within water and wastewater environments.
- →Experience with hydraulic modelling tools and workflows.
- →The curiosity to understand complex customer challenges and connect them with appropriate technical solutions and measurable outcomes.
- →Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with practitioners, technical specialists and senior stakeholders.
- →Experience leading workshops, technical presentations, demonstrations or solution-development activities.
- →An engineering degree, equivalent professional qualification, or relevant industry experience.
- →Business fluency in English.
Requirements
~1 min read- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Water solutions such as Info360 Asset, Info360 Insight, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS Pro and InfoDrainage, or comparable industry solutions, is highly valued.
- Experience collaborating with sales or commercial teams. Previous experience in a dedicated technical sales, solutions engineering or pre-sales role is valuable but not essential.
- Knowledge of digital transformation, SaaS, cloud technology, digital twins or data-driven decision making within the water sector.
- Experience working with water utilities, engineering consultancies or technology providers across EMEA.
- Experience developing business cases or communicating the value and outcomes associated with technology investments.
- Additional European language skills; Spanish would be particularly valuable.
