You will combine hands-on operational leadership with strategic thinking, taking responsibility for the day-to-day workplace experience while partnering with regional leaders to continuously improve how our workplace services are delivered.
You will lead the local Workplace team, manage key vendors and contractors, oversee workplace budgets and projects, and ensure our Oslo office operates safely, efficiently and in accordance with Autodesk standards and applicable Norwegian requirements.
Success in this role is as much about people as it is about facilities. You will build trusted relationships across the office, listen to employee needs and bring together internal teams and external partners to create a workplace that is safe, inclusive, sustainable and enjoyable to use.
Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operation of Autodesk's Oslo workplace, creating a safe, welcoming, inclusive and efficient environment for employees and visitors

Lead, coach and develop the local Workplace team, including Workplace Coordinators and Reception team members, setting clear objectives and supporting professional development
- →
Build strong relationships with employees and local leadership, proactively communicating workplace updates, projects, service changes and operational priorities

Partner with the Site Leader, regional Workplace leadership, HR, IT/ESE, Security, Finance, Procurement, Legal and other teams to deliver seamless workplace services

Manage workplace vendors and contractors, including service performance and contracts, in partnership with Procurement, Legal and Finance

Manage workplace operating budgets and expenditure, supporting effective planning, forecasting and financial oversight

Use workplace data and KPIs to understand how the office is performing and identify opportunities to improve services, employee experience and space utilisation

Manage workplace systems and services, including HVAC, utilities, lighting, security, fire-safety systems and other building infrastructure, working with qualified service providers as appropriate

Support the team with meeting-room and workplace technology, including basic troubleshooting and coordination with technical support teams when required

Ensure workplace operations comply with applicable health, safety and workplace requirements, Autodesk standards and established procedures.

Coordinate local emergency preparedness, business continuity and recovery activities in partnership with relevant Autodesk teams

Maintain accurate workplace documentation, including floor plans, facilities records and relevant building information

Lead local workplace improvements and sustainability initiatives and support relocations, construction and larger workplace projects

Track maintenance, repairs and workplace assets using Autodesk's designated tools and systems

Provide occasional support for business-critical workplace incidents or planned maintenance outside normal office hours where required, in accordance with applicable working-time requirements and Autodesk policies

Contribute to regional Workplace initiatives and provide appropriate support to regional Workplace leadership when needed
