Gas Service Technician

  Support the day-to-day operation of gas storage and distribution systems.

  Carry out routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of gas equipment.

  Assist with maintenance activities and equipment checks.

• →

  Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.

• →

  Support audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement activities.

• →

  Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• →

  Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.

• Previous experience working with gas systems, utilities, maintenance, engineering, or a related technical environment.

• Basic understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.

• Full UK driving licence.

• IOSH Working Safely or similar safety training.

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, chemical, pharmaceutical, or energy environments.

• Knowledge of pressure systems or gas storage equipment.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on technical experience who is looking to develop their career within gas operations and facilities support. Training and development will be provided for the right candidate.
