Aircraft Structures MRB Engineer 5

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related curriculum applicable to the respective job position required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• 13 years specific technical discipline or 15 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines with bachelor's. Experience credit considered for related advanced degrees limited to 2 years for master's and 4 years for PhD in fields applicable to this job.
• Advanced degree in engineering related field preferred. The level of technical skill and abilities appropriate for this grade will be established by each discipline.

• Minimum of 10 years dedicated structures MRB engineering experience at a recognized aerospace manufacturer. Must be direct MRB experience, not just in support of MRB.
• Must be computer literate in the following (but not limited to): Catia V5, Solumina, SmarTeam, Word, Excel.

• 15 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• Creation and justification of engineering dispositions for nonconformances of composite and metallic, pressurized and non-pressurized aircraft structures.
• Experience including all components of the aircraft (wing, fuselage, empennage).
• Experience in a production and/or schedule-driven environment.
• Capability to analyze and rapidly design repairs based on equivalent strength/stiffness of surrounding structure while in a schedule driven environment.
• Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Participation in a DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program may be required.

Works on engineering projects containing critical problems, the solution of which requires major technological advances and extensive related development.
