We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to serve as a delivery partner to senior leadership, translating strategic vision into coordinated action. In this role, you will help shape how Awin achieves its objectives by taking ownership of multiple complex, high-impact projects and programs spanning business, finance, operations, and technology functions.

This position is ideal for a generalist who thrives at the intersections of an international organisation. You will be adept at navigating ambiguity, connecting the dots across functions, and building trust-based relationships at all levels, through exceptional organisational, critical thinking, influencing and communication skills.

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will join a globally distributed team of Project Managers, collectively driving high-quality delivery and fostering a culture of ambition and excellence.

 

  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects and programs, balancing strategic priorities, competing business needs, cross-functional dependencies, resources and timelines to achieve outcomes.
  • Serve as primary point of coordination for the project/program, bringing together Technical, Commercial and Operational teams to create alignment and shared plans towards strategic outcomes.
  • Establish and continuously evolve fit-for-purpose governance, documentation and delivery frameworks that provide clarity, drive decision-making and enable efficient execution without unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior leaders, providing trusted advice, constructive challenge and evidence-based recommendations to support strategic decisions and programme success.
  • Continuously anticipate and proactively manage risk, implementing pragmatic mitigation strategies and responding decisively to emerging challenges.
  • Present clear updates, proposals, analysis and recommendations to senior management, advocating for stakeholder perspectives while driving decisions that deliver the greatest organisational value.
  • Proactively identify the impacts of project change across the organisation and implement pragmatic strategic that build understanding, drive adoption and maintain delivery outcomes.
  • Monitor performance through executive reporting and KPIs, translating complex delivery information into clear insights and visual narratives that support leaders to steer effectively.
  • Own professional development, identifying skill gaps and pursuing growth opportunities aligned with role, team and business needs.
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing maturity of the PMO by supporting the development of PMO standards, tools, and ways of working.

 

  • 6+ years’ experience leading complex, cross-functional projects or programs in fast-paced, international environments; consultancy experience in digital marketing or e-commerce is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and contribute to portfolio planning, prioritisation, governance and strategic alignment.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) or relevant degree with applied knowledge of advanced methodologies, tools, and best practices. Demonstrated knowledge of portfolio management principles, with a recognised portfolio management qualification desirable.
  • Confident to create order from complexity through disciplined PMO practices and information flows, enabling work to progress seamlessly while maintaining a strategic, benefits-focused perspective.
  • Situationally adaptive, capable of exercising judgment and flexibility to combine project management rigor and practical experience with new approaches for each project environment.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience managing distributed project teams, leading in matrix environments and navigating diverse personalities to foster collaboration.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with outcome-first mindset. Able to tackle complex and ambiguous challenges, synthesize information, assess options and propose pragmatic solutions even when no clear path exists.
  • Strong change management and influencing skills. Ability to influence upwards and across the organisation, mitigate resistance, and maintain stakeholder engagement throughout delivery.
  • Confident and persuasive presenter, able to articulate ideas, advocate for team perspectives, and secure alignment at all levels, including up to Board-level.
  • Self-driven, accountable, and resilient under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in dynamic environments.
  • Models a feedback-driven culture, actively seeking input to improve delivery and leadership effectiveness.
  • Curious and proactive about learning new technologies, particularly AI; hands-on AI proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with project management tools such as Asana is desirable.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
