This group works in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, partnering closely with audit, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to remediate risk findings and strengthen access controls. Current initiatives center around improving data classification, tightening access governance, and enhancing enterprise-wide data security frameworks.

• Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)

• Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams in a regulated industry

• Assess and remediate access permissions across enterprise data repositories using tools like Varonis and Microsoft Entra ID
• Partner with business users to validate and correct access entitlements to sensitive/unstructured data
• Support closure of internal audit findings by implementing effective data access controls and governance processes
• Provide technical support for enterprise applications to ensure operational continuity
• Troubleshoot incidents, manage service requests, and perform ongoing system maintenance and updates
• Contribute to improving data classification, access approval workflows, and compliance standards

• 8–10+ years of experience in IT support, security operations, or data governance environments
• Hands-on experience with Varonis Data Security Platform (especially Data Privilege)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and access management concepts
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance tools
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
• Experience supporting audit remediation or compliance-driven initiatives
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to assess access risks and propose solutions
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder outreach and coordination
• Ability to work independently in a structured, deadline-driven environment
