- Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
- Long-term contract through March 2027, offering stability and project continuity
- Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale data systems within a highly regulated financial environment
- Exposure to complex data architectures and performance-critical systems
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Improve database performance, scalability, and reliability across large datasets
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support reporting, analytics, and data integration needs
- Maintain and enhance existing database structures and data pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments
- Contribute to data governance, quality, and consistency initiatives
- 10+ years of experience in SQL development and database programming
- Strong expertise in relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar RDBMS)
- Proven experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Experience working with large-scale data environments and optimizing query performance
- Familiarity with data modeling, indexing strategies, and database design principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus
