Join a growing IT infrastructure team supporting a highly regulated, mission-driven life sciences environment where reliable, secure, and well-documented network operations are critical to business continuity. This role sits close to core infrastructure operations and will support both day-to-day network stability and hands-on implementation work across on-premises and cloud-connected environments. • Hybrid schedule based in Bridgewater, NJ, with a minimum of three days onsite.
• Opportunity to step into a highly visible, hands-on network engineering role supporting a growing infrastructure function.
• Exposure to Cisco networking, Meraki wireless, monitoring platforms, firewall operations, cloud networking, and operational improvement initiatives.

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve LAN/WAN infrastructure across routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and related network systems.
• Support daily network operations, including incident resolution, change requests, performance monitoring, and production stability.
• Diagnose and resolve routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity issues across on-premises and cloud-connected environments.
• Maintain strong documentation, including network diagrams, configuration records, MOPs, support procedures, and change-related documentation.
• Review the current environment and provide practical recommendations to improve reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Support new site or infrastructure implementation work as needed, while remaining hands-on in production support and troubleshooting.

• 10+ years of network engineering, network infrastructure, or IT infrastructure operations experience preferred.
• Strong Cisco networking expertise required, including hands-on routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, ACLs, VPNs, and firewall fundamentals.
• CCNP required; CCIE strongly preferred.
• Experience with Cisco platforms, Meraki wireless, firewalls, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of ITIL-aligned change management, incident management, documentation, and operational support practices.
• Exposure to GCP and/or AWS networking is a plus, especially VPC/VPE concepts, routing, security groups, and cloud-to-on-prem connectivity.
• Must be comfortable working hands-on in both operations and implementation.
• Must be able to work onsite in Bridgewater, NJ at least three days per week.
• U.S. citizenship required.
