Local IT Support Assistant (Freelance / On-Demand)

Azurreo is the telecommunications and technology arm of Seelon Holdings, a privately held international investment group operating across four continents. We specialise in telecom network performance testing, measuring quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) for operators and technology vendors worldwide.

We are looking for a reliable Local IT Support Assistant based close to our office in Mexico City to provide occasional on-site IT, equipment and operational support.

This is a freelance, on-demand engagement, not a full-time or part-time employee position. There are no fixed or guaranteed weekly hours. Assignments will be requested as operational needs arise and, whenever possible, scheduled in advance.

The work will mainly involve visiting our local office to handle equipment, coordinate shipments, maintain inventory records and provide basic hands-on IT support when a physical presence is required.

• →Receive, prepare and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of laptops, IT equipment and other company materials, including working with carriers such as DHL and FedEx.
• →Maintain accurate records of equipment received, stored, assigned, shipped or returned.
• →Carry out physical inventory checks and update the corresponding digital records.
• →Prepare, inspect and organise laptops, peripherals and other IT equipment when required.
• →Provide basic on-site troubleshooting for laptops, peripherals, connectivity and office IT equipment.
• →Follow instructions from Azurreo's IT and operations teams when an issue requires someone to be physically present at the office.
• →Liaise with local vendors, couriers and service providers when necessary.
• →Take photographs, record serial numbers or provide other documentation needed to confirm completed work.
• →Report any damaged, missing or malfunctioning equipment promptly.
• →Complete other occasional on-site IT or operational tasks within the scope of the engagement.

This position is intended for someone who can provide occasional local support when needed.

• Work is assigned on an on-demand basis.
• There are no guaranteed minimum hours or fixed weekly schedule.
• Assignments may range from a short office visit to several hours, depending on the task.
• Most assignments will take place during normal Monday-to-Friday business hours.
• We will provide the task details and expected scope before each assignment whenever possible.
• The freelancer must be able to travel independently to the Regus Carso office.

• Based in Mexico City and able to reach our Regus Carso office easily.
• Comfortable working independently and following remote instructions from international colleagues.
• Basic knowledge of laptops, computer peripherals and common IT troubleshooting.
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and careful when handling company equipment.
• Able to maintain accurate records and provide clear updates after completing an assignment.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience in IT support, office operations, logistics, inventory management or a similar role is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of English is an advantage, particularly for communicating with Azurreo's international teams.

Because the purpose of this engagement is to provide physical support when our remote teams cannot resolve a task remotely, proximity to the office is an important requirement.
