Ops Program Mgr III

The Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) product line is developing and delivering the future of electronic warfare (EW), today along with developing robust sustainment strategies for active platforms. Built on decades of proven fielded capability, rooted on robust operational analysis, and incorporating the most relevant needs of the warfighter, AEWS brings high technology readiness level (TRL) and manufacturing readiness level (MRL) solutions to address the most complex challenges for the United States Department of Defense (DoD). A critical part of the AEWS portfolio is growing our Sustainment organization and supporting our customers with fielded product.  As an Operations Program Manager in our Sustainment organization, you can’t be closer to the company mission and our customer base.  In this role you will be responsible for supporting programs like F22 and ensuring that we can sustain our hardware and keep our product relevant into 2060 and beyond. 

Some responsibilities may include:

• Proposal support
• Diminishing materials supply and obsolescence part management
• Repair and failure analysis of products supporting our warfighter 

 

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

• Excellent Program/project management skills
• Strong Supply Chain and/ or Manufacturing background
• Demonstrated experience in production and sustainment or development programs
• Experience with proposals and the Operations proposal process
• Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated aptitude to manage scope and a budget
• High degree of ethics and strong core values
• Strong oral communication and formal presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of team with initiative, creativity, and innovation

• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 4 years experience or relevant experiences
• High degree of ethics and strong core values
• PMP, Six Sigma or other related Certifications
• Strong Foundation in Operations Function
• Risk and Opportunity Management
• Analytical skills and the ability to work independently to develop Leadership presentations for the Operations and Program function
• Strong communication skills –
  • having an ability to communicate a strategy or problem to other people
  • being able to speak at any level from factory floor to director level
  • Willingness to ask questions to thoroughly learn manufacturing processes on the factory side, and financial implications on the program side
• Strong Time Management Skills
  • Highly organized when balancing needs of multiple factories and programs
• Ability to take initiative and be proactive when facing technical, cost, or schedule challenges
• Ability to lead small teams
