~1 min readAs a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for applying systems engineering principles to the development and integration of complex aerospace systems. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will manage system requirements, support architecture development, and oversee integration and verification activities to ensure technical solutions meet programme objectives. This role requires a proactive and independent approach, helping to translate high-level requirements into effective system designs while maintaining compliance with aerospace industry standards and best practices.
- Systems Requirements Management. Develop, decompose, and manage system and subsystem requirements, ensuring full traceability.
- Architecture & Design. Define system architectures and interfaces using a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach.
- Integration & Verification. Lead verification and validation (V&V) activities, including test planning, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
- Compliance & Standards. Ensure adherence to aerospace standards, regulations, and systems engineering best practices.
- Project Coordination. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and act as a key technical interface with programme stakeholders.
- Degree-qualified in a STEM discipline, or equivalent relevant experience, ideally within the aerospace sector.
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, system architecture, integration, verification, and validation.
- Ability to apply systems engineering principles and methodologies to complex engineering projects.
