Senior Commercial Manager - AUKUS

• Development and implementation of the commercial Capability Pathway strategy & documentation (the Capability Pathway being the route to knowledge and know-how transfer from the UK to Australia)
• Supporting the Head of Commercial and wider teams developing the Joint Venture Company artefacts & governance
• Developing and Pursuing business winning opportunities for the Submarines Business Unit
• Working collaboratively with Australia and helping to embed a One Team culture across the Commercial departments
• Maintaining commercial integrity through strong governance and adherence to both company and regulatory requirements

• Experience in BAE Systems Commercial process and contracting strategies
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build enduring and productive relationships with key stakeholders
• Ability to work across a complex Industrial landscape and building teams across a Global enterprise
• Flexible and willing to undertake international travel as required

A great opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial team at Submarines on the AUKUS programme, one of the most exciting programmes in the Defence Industry today. . Working with the Commercial and wider programme teams both in the UK and Australia, the role will support the Development of the Australian business entities (including the formation of a new Joint Venture company) and the transfer of commercial knowledge and know-how to Australia to enable them to manage contracts and risk, whilst delivering SSNA Submarines.
