Baker Distributing Company — a leader in the HVAC industry — is looking for a dependable, customer‑focused Driver & Warehouse Associate to represent our brand across the Nashville area.

Responsibilities

    Deliver HVAC products safely and efficiently to customers, vendors, and nearby Sales Centers

  • →

    Load and unload your truck each day with accuracy and care

  • →

    Provide friendly, professional customer service at every stop

  • →

    Assist in warehouse operations: picking orders, verifying inventory, and keeping things organized

  • →

    Complete daily truck inspections and maintenance checklists

  • →

    Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE

  • →

    Report hazards or incidents promptly

  • →

    Keep your truck and workspace clean, safe, and ready for action

  • →

    Support the team with additional tasks as needed

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)

  • At least 1 year of truck‑driving experience (box truck experience preferred)

  • Valid DOT medical certificate (or ability to obtain one)

  • CDL is a plus — not required

  • Warehouse or forklift experience is a bonus

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

  • A team‑first attitude and interest in learning and growing

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar)

  • Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license

  • Clear, confident communication

  • Strong problem‑solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

  • Customer‑first mindset with a knack for building long‑term relationships

Requirements

  • Comfortable standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, or crouching as needed

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)

  • Visual acuity for reading labels, inspecting equipment, and operating machinery
