As a Digital Technology Advisor - Data & Information Architecture, you will be responsible for technical leadership in a diverse team of data professionals, delivering data solutions to business stakeholders and collaborating with peers to drive improvement across the Data Office as a whole.


As Digital Technology Advisor - Data & Information Architecture you will be Responsible for :

  • Strive to understand customer requirements and create and adjust data models accordingly.
  • Design and engineer data models and data transformations.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of data engineers.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of standards and conventions in the data organization.
  • Communicate ideas and designs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Explain the thinking behind design choices and approach technical criticism and suggestions with humility.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor's Degree. A minimum 12 years’ experience in data engineering, including a minimum of 4 years of experience in data architecture or modeling.
  • High level of proficiency with SQL.
  • High level of proficiency with data modeling.
  • Deep understanding of code review/GitHub/version control.
  • Experience with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, etc. desired
  • Proven problem-solving ability.
  • Understanding of data technologies (e.g. Apache Airflow, Databricks, etc.).

    • Works with stakeholders and product owners to understand business requirements.
    • Makes technical decisions and articulates them to team members clearly.
    • Takes the lead in technical discussions among peers and data engineers.
    • Delivers tasks on-time with alignment to technical goals. Can identify and raise issues, risks and benefits.
    • Participates in change initiatives by implementing new directions and providing appropriate information and feedback.
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Collaborative approach to work with cross-functional teams.
    • Positive, proactive, growth mindset is key.
    • Must embrace opportunities to learn and be willing to step outside of comfort zone.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Applies values, policies, procedures and precedent to make timely, routine decisions of limited, clear choice.
    • Reacts open-mindedly to new perspectives or ideas. Considers different or unusual solutions when appropriate.
    • Resolves day-to-day issues related to strategy implementation. Escalates issues that impact the client and/or strategic initiatives.
