Electro-Mechanical Technician

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform the visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform all test with minimal instruction.
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:
· Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy
· Configuring test stations and systems
· Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests, and troubleshooting equipment problems
· Assisting in the set-up of experiments and the recordings of experimental data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups
· Testing and evaluating the performance and, if required, repairing general purpose test equipment
· Providing leadership/coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence
· Working in compliance with HS&E policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you will:
· Have a 2 year technical diploma or Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics field or higher
· Have at least 2 years of related experience in electro-mechanical function in oil and Gas industry/domain
· Have advanced skills in soldering, assembling trouble shooting, of electro-mechanical devices
· Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists
· Be proficient in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes
· Be proficient in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments
· Have a strong written and oral English skills
