The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students either pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree or recently graduated to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. Our internships will give you first-hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that are aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology.
You’ll participate in focused training, and team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.
You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) and culture of Baker Hughes. as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
As an Intern, you will be responsible for:
Support the design, development, and continuous improvement of structured technical learning paths for Field Service personnel
Contribute to the delivery of hands-on and digitally enabled immersive training programs leveraging real equipment, Virtual/Mixed Reality software, immersive reality platforms, and 3D laser-scanned environments
Ensure training solutions replicate real field conditions—both physical and virtual—to enhance operational readiness and problem-solving capabilities
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, instructors, and cross-functional teams to maintain technical relevance and accuracy of training content
Promote experiential and immersive learning methodologies that accelerate competency development and practical application
Support initiatives to embed Quality, HSE, and compliance standards consistently across all training programs
Ensure training content reflects company procedures, standards, and field execution requirements
Contribute to reinforcing a strong safety and quality culture within all training activities
Align training materials with operational best practices required for successful execution at customer sites
Partner with HSE, Quality, and Operations teams to continuously improve training effectiveness and compliance alignment
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronic, Automation, Robotics, Programming, Safety Engineering) or other STEM-related field.
- Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
- Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills
- Strong technical competence
- Ability to translate technical knowledge into practical and immersive training solutions
- Solid understanding of safety, quality, and compliance principles
- Be able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction

The fixed allowance for this position will be between this range: 600 - 1000 € gross monthly.
The allowance will be established in accordance with criteria related to the candidate’s academic status and their distance from the workplace.
