The Lead Engineer – Subsea Distribution Systems is responsible for design and development of products for the subsea oil fields distribution system.
As a Lead Engineer, Subsea Distribution Systems, you will be responsible for:
Establishing technical requirements based on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards.
Leading and contributing on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule.
Working cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables.
Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant.
Be accountable for cost out activities, budget monitoring and eng plans progress.
Managing engineering suppliers on the technical standpoint, providing guidance and granting compliance to applicable technical and contractual requirements.
Providing engineering support to program management and any other stakeholders.
Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products.
Providing consultancy advice to the project bid team.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Be an expert in 3D CAD modelling.
Have Subsea equipment knowledge and relevant design methodologies (desired).
Have a robust mechanical design background with proven experience in a similar role.
Be proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility.
Have strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

For Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,200 To 59,400. . The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
