As a Manufacturing Professional, you will be responsible for:
Perform inspection, testing, calibration, repair, and replacement of automation components, including PLCs, sensors, actuators, relays, contactors, solenoid valves, and pneumatic/hydraulic devices.
Manage and maintain knowledge of coating machines, robots, gas and liquid control systems, vacuum furnaces, and CNC machinery (such as 5-axis milling machines, laser welders, and CNC lathes).
Diagnose system malfunctions using specialized diagnostic tools and technical documentation, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Modify, program, and update PLCs and automated control systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities, including equipment inspections, cleaning of electrical connections, replacement of backup batteries, and adjustment of control parameters to meet production requirements.
Verify system performance through functional testing and commissioning while ensuring strict compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability, optimize process performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have master's degree in Automation Engineering, Industrial IT.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience with automation and industrial maintenance.
Technical Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in PLC programming (Ladder, SFC, FBD), drives/servo-drives adjustment, and motion control.
Strong knowledge of electrotechnics, instrumentation, pneumatics/hydraulics, and reading technical diagrams.
Experience with industrial communication, supervision systems (SCADA), and databases.
Proven ability to plan interventions, manage tasks, and troubleshoot rapidly with strong pedagogical/communication skills.
