Partner with the best As a Warehouse & Yard Operator I, you will execute standard warehouse and yard processes and procedures, supporting receiving, storage, preservation, inventory accuracy, yard management, and the delivery of inventory and equipment to both internal and external customers. In this role, you will contribute directly to operational efficiency, inventory integrity, and customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
As a Warehouse & Yard Operator I - Exclusiva PCD, you will be responsible for:
- Actively participating in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs and initiatives.
- Maintaining work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition in accordance with 6S standards.
- Reporting HSE incidents immediately and exercising Stop Work authority when required for safety.
- Reviewing associated ORAs, HRAs, MOCs, and Work Permits before beginning work activities.
- Optimizing warehouse workflows and yard layout efficiency through Lean principles.
- Coordinating with Manufacturing, Service Delivery, Logistics, Quality, and other functions to support on-time deliveries and shipments.
- Supporting warehouse and yard projects, tasks, and operational activities as assigned.
- Maintaining required competency assessments and training certifications.
- Operating forklifts and warehouse handling equipment as required.
- Performing data entry activities accurately and within established timelines.
- Meeting local service level agreement requirements.
- Executing 6S and Lean initiatives, including Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety activities.
- Performing physical inventory counts and asset verification activities.
- Promoting a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
- Following assigned schedules and proactively communicating potential availability issues.
- Supporting and coaching colleagues in areas of demonstrated competence when required.
Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
- Possess basic written communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Have the ability to operate a forklift while loading and unloading freight.
