Blast & Explosion Testing Engineer (Blast Consultant)

Our corporate office located in San Antonio, TX is seeking a full-time entry level engineer in our Blast Effects section. This position will have a focus on supporting testing related to flammability and explosion phenomena. The successful applicant will also assist mid-level and senior staff in explosion consequence assessments and supporting incident investigations. Position will also involve preparing technical proposals, reports and presentations.

• Mechanical Engineering degree or related discipline (MS or PhD preferred).
• Must have the ability to support multiple projects while meeting deadlines and working with a variety of personnel under a range of conditions (i.e., test ranges, office, industrial, and accidental explosion sites).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Field or lab-scale testing experience is required.
• This position will require frequent travel.
