Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Safety & Dispensing Accuracy: Ensures all prescriptions are accurately reviewed, verified, and dispensed in accordance with legal, clinical, and company standards to promote safe and effective patient care.
- Patient Care & Clinical Services: Delivers high-quality patient care through counseling, immunizations, and clinical services, supporting optimal medication outcomes and overall patient health.
- Regulatory Compliance & Pharmacy Operations: Maintains full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws while ensuring safe, efficient, and organized pharmacy operations.
- Team Leadership & Oversight: Provides direct supervision and oversight of pharmacy technicians to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required: Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy
- Required: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Required: Current Immunization Certification (or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe in accordance with state regulations)
- Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Required: Ability to work at an assigned store location and maintain full compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Preferred: Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting
