Business/System Analyst

Salary: 3600-4200 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience, but we are flexible. 

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (hybrid)

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week) 

6-month contract with a high possibility of extension.

Our client is one of the largest financial institutions in the Nordic region, supporting tens of thousands of end users across a complex enterprise environment. We are looking for a Business/System Analyst to join a Core Payment Platform team.

How you'll spend your day 

• →Analyse legacy and cloud-based services used by internal bank employees in payment case handling. 
• →Gather, document and maintain business and system requirements. 
• →Support the Product Owner with backlog clarification and prioritisation. 
• →Participate in technical discussions to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with business needs. 
• →Support testing activities, defect investigation and issue resolution. 
• →Analyse payment handling workflows and identify improvement opportunities. 
• →Communicate findings and requirements clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.

• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst or similar role. 
• Experience with payment systems, payment processes or the financial services domain. 
• Strong analytical skills and ability to document requirements clearly. 
• Experience working in an Agile setup. 
• Experience with Jira and Confluence. 
• Fluent English. 
• Proactive, structured and able to take ownership. 

• SQL knowledge. 
• Experience with cloud/legacy system analysis. 
• Experience supporting testing and defect investigation.
