Senior IT Platform Engineer

Salary: 6000-7500 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience, but we are flexible. 

Location: Hybrid/Remote (Vilnius, Lithuania)

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week) 

6-month contract with a high possibility of extension.

We are looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team with one of the biggest players in finance in the country. Our client build digital financial solutions and see technology as the driver of change. IT is central to how our client create value and stay competitive. Our client teams tackle complex challenges, own their services end-to-end, and continuously improve them. Ongoing migration to AWS means they are prioritizing modern tooling, flexibility and adaptability. This position is a part of the Observability team at our client's company.

How you'll spend your day 

• →Designing Observability services together with team members and architects based on the needs of stakeholders.
• →Building Observability tooling in AWS.
• →Integrating our existing Observability services with different platforms, including AWS to cover metrics, logs, traces, alerts.
• →Working as part of the team towards the same goals.

• 5+ years of AWS Experience.
• Experience in working with tooling like: Prometheus, Thanos, Cloudwatch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Vector, FluentBit, OpenSearch/ELK, Terraform.
• Experience in DevOps tools – Azure DevOps or GitHub actions.
• Experience with containerized environments – Kubernetes/Openshift/EKS.  
• Python / Scripting experience.
