The selected candidates may coordinate the daily operations of a large public swimming pool, which can include supervising Lifeguards and Pool Attendants, trains lifeguards in pool safety, investigates and reports pool accidents to superiors, operates pool filtration system and tests pool for water purity, recommends new procedures for controlling swimmers & improving working conditions, cleans pool facilities & grounds, performs pool maintenance, prepares maintenance reports and other related duties as required.

Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to positions identified as positions of trust will be required to complete authorization for a Criminal Background Check and/or Fingerprint screening, and must be successfully completed.
All persons, including current City employees, selected for this position must complete a 6-month mandatory probation.
