Within our Cardiology Sonography positions you will perform adult echo, TEE and stress echo in a high volume, fast paced environment. We have the opportunity to see a variety of pathology and exam types, including structural heart procedures, TAVR and Watchman. Location: Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix

Schedule Details: Full Time 3 10hr shifts, with a weekend, holiday and call requirement.

Ideal Candidate:

POSITION SUMMARY

This position, acting as a specialized ultrasound technologist, aids in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions in patients, playing a central role in detecting issues related to the heart, including heart malfunctions and in supporting the physicians as they develop diagnosis and treatment plans.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures. Oversees Heart Clinic echocardiographic services, ensuring quality of performance. Accountable for the oversight and application of scanning protocols and quality measures, following the guidelines of ASE or IAC.
