Our team of neurologists include subspecialists across the field who are experts in neurological health and disease. We bring the latest knowledge, techniques and treatments to take care of you and your loved ones and get you back to the best neuro health.


Your main location will be at Scottsdale Banner Health Center Plus - 18250 N Hayden Rd. Scottdale, AZ. However, you will float to our Arcadia (BUMG Arcadia Specialties (4200 E. Camelback Rd, Suite 202))and Banner University Medical Center Phoenix locations as needed.


This facility will not open until early 2027. During training you will work at our Arcadia and Phoenix locations.


Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00p, with some flexibility required based on business needs.


EEG certification is required for this role. EEG & EMG preferred but not required. You will complete both EEG and EMGs in this position, once trained.

Banner University Medical Group is our nonprofit faculty practice plan associated with the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine in Phoenix and Tucson. Our 1,100-plus clinicians provide primary and specialty care to patients at highly ranked Banner - University Medical Centers and dozens of clinics while providing mentorship to more than 1,200 residents and fellows. POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs prescribed electroencephalographic procedures to patients. This position analyzes data during the recording, making certain that the information being obtained is valid and interpretable.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Performs prescribed standard electroencephalographic procedures in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

2. Analyzes, identifies and documents procedures as outlined by departmental policies and procedures to maximize patient outcome.

3. Ensures an accurate and readable recording using deductive reasoning to trouble shoot minor problems and make adjustments as needed during the procedure.

4. Collects and/or reviews pertinent medical, historical, and medication information in order to perform the appropriate study prescribed by the physician as outlined by departmental policies and procedures.

5. Assists with activities to improve department processes, facilitate testing and maintain quality to achieve optimal patient results.

6. Assists in scheduling of patients, charge entry and maintains equipment as outlined by department policies and procedures.

7. Independently performs prescribed electroencephalographic procedures to patients. Internal customers: All levels of nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.

This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with one year of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, basic mathematical skills, analyze data and solve basic problems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
