As a Genetic Counselor in Oncology at Banner Health, you will play a meaningful role in guiding patients and their families through the complex and often emotional journey of understanding their inherited cancer risk. In this position, you will obtain detailed personal and family medical histories, construct and analyze pedigrees, and determine the appropriateness of genetic testing to develop individualized care plans and treatment options. You will interpret complex genetic principles and laboratory results while providing compassionate counseling and psychosocial support to help patients and families navigate difficult decisions with clarity and confidence. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary oncology team, you will contribute to medical direction, support research initiatives, and provide education to healthcare professionals and the broader community.
