Banner Health Emergency Services is proud to bring a new state-of-the-art freestanding emergency department to the Buckeye, AZ community. Opening in November 2026, this modern 14,500 square foot facility will feature 14 fully-equipped exam spaces, one dedicated trauma/treatment room, and comprehensive diagnostic services including x-ray, CT scan, and ultrasound. While patients will not be admitted at this location, the ED will work in close partnership with Banner Estrella Medical Center to ensure seamless continuity of care for our community.

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Paramedics to join our founding team. The ideal candidate will embody our commitment to a people-centered, collaborative culture and demonstrate compassion, kindness, and resiliency in high-pressure situations. To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience working in an Emergency Department

  • Day: 7:00a - 7:00p
  • Overnight: 7:00p - 7:00a

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for patient care in the emergency department as assigned under the medical direction of the base hospital EMS Medical Director. This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional paramedic practice. This position is accountable for the quality of patient services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
