As the RN CARS CARES you prep and recover patients who have had invasive cardiac procedures, structural procedures, EP procedures, IR procedures and medical imaging procedures. This position is considered to be the groin management and sheath experts of the facility. The RN will pull sheaths and perform manual holds to the artery as well as recovers patients from sedation and general anesthesia. This role also Administers sedation and manages the patients intra-TEE and DCCV and holds STEMI patients and inpatients if specialized care is needed. This position will also have an opportunity to float to Outpatients Unit and main OR Preop/PACU if needed. This is a full time position working 3, 12hr shifts a week.
