As a Registered Nurse in Radiation Oncology, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients navigating one of the most challenging journeys of their lives. In this specialized role, you will partner closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients receiving radiation therapy. From conducting pre-visit assessments and preparing patient charts to providing hands-on nursing visits that include skin and wound care, IV placement, and patient education, your expertise will directly impact the comfort and outcomes of those in your care. You will serve as a consistent point of contact for on-treatment patients, offering symptom management support, treatment preparation guidance, and seamless coordination across care teams.
