Senior Psychometrist Clinical Care and Brain and Body Donation Program

The Research Institute Clinical Care and Brain and Body Donation Program – Sun City serves all aspects of the Institute’s mission – to make a difference to patients with age-related disorders through cutting-edge research, clinical care, prevention, and education. The Neuropsychology team includes neuropsychologists, psychometrists, research assistants, post-doctoral fellows, and psychology graduate students. Our team is dedicated to precision and accuracy in administration of neuropsychological measures, compassionate care for our patients and research participants, and collaborative innovation of best practices.

The Senior Psychometrist administers and scores complex cognitive and neuropsychological tests. Assessments take place in diverse contexts, including government- and industry-sponsored research and clinical trials, local and national research consortiums, community-based cognitive screenings, and outpatient clinical evaluations. The psychometrists work closely with the neuropsychologists and under their supervision. Neuropsychologists are always there to help, support, and educate. Research opportunities are available for someone who is planning to study further in graduate school or medical school.

As a member of our team, you will also be engaged in our robust training program, which teaches the next generation of neuropsychologists (graduate students and post-doctoral fellows). The Neuropsychology Center is also called upon for sharing our expertise in cognitive assessment with colleagues across various departments.
