Customer Engagement Consultant

As a Customer Engagement Consultant, you will often be a key face-to-face contact for prospective customers and their families. You will support them from initial enquiry through to the completion of the sales process, taking the time to understand what matters to them and connecting their needs with the right BaptistCare services.  

Your role will include: 

• Building genuine relationships with prospective customers, families and key decision-makers. 

• Managing the customer journey from enquiry through to closing the sale. 

• Meeting customers within residential facilities and, where required, in their homes to explain services, agreements, fees and available supports. 

• Arranging and conducting site tours and helping ensure our facilities are ready to welcome prospective customers. 

• Maintaining accurate records of customer and referral engagements within BaptistCare’s CRM. 

• Building relationships with referral networks including general practitioners, hospitals, public health networks, healthcare institutions and community organisations. 

• Attending and making presentations at relevant expos, conferences and community events to promote BaptistCare. 

• Contributing ideas that continually improve the customer experience 

Though this role is based across the South Metro and peel region some flexibility is required to assist throughout the broader metro area if needed.

You are someone who can build trust quickly, understand individual needs and confidently guide people through their options. You are comfortable working towards sales and service outcomes, but your approach is consultative and customer led rather than transactional.
