Designed in a country homestead style, the well-loved centre provides 160 beds catering for all levels of care, including respite, Ageing in Place, dementia, and palliative care.
The Training and Quality Coordinator, plays a crucial role in the provision and evaluation of clinical and non-clinical education and training programs. Your efforts will support the continuous improvement initiatives for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain accurate online training records within our Learning Management System.
- →Coordinate employee skills development and ensure compliance with training requirements.
- →Identify and implement effective methods of education delivery, including e-learning and face-to-face training.
- →Facilitate staff orientation and mandatory education sessions.
- →Conduct training needs analyses and develop an education calendar based on findings.
- →Monitor compliance with the facility’s mandatory education program.
- →Develop individual Learning Plans and assist with skills assessments.
- →Promote and coordinate attendance at education programs, including WHS training.
- →Participate in audits and provide reports on education issues to the education and quality supervisor.
Requirements
~1 min read- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Certificate III in Aged Care.
- Certificate IV in Aged Care or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
- Experience in health, residential aged care, or community aged care.
- Understanding of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and values.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver education and training activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Sound relationship-building and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of WHS and risk management standards.
