Barbaricum is seeking an Model Based Systems Engineer III to directly support the anticipated Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, Model Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM). Code MXM's mission is mission engineering analysis and assessment of complex Naval, DoD, and joint kill chains — with a specialized focus on Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) enabled analysis. As a Model Based Systems Engineer III, you will apply MBSE methodologies, frameworks, and tools at a senior level in support of Code MXM's mission engineering capability development. You will develop and manage requirements and verification methodologies within system models and lead the creation and management of MBSE artifacts.

Responsibilities

→Apply expert knowledge of MBSE methodologies and frameworks and expertise in MBSE tools.
→Develop and manage requirements and verification methodologies within system models.
→Use system models to identify subassemblies, interfaces, functions, environments, and software/firmware requirements.
→Create SETR artifacts and MBSE meta-chain report templates.
→Perform data management (DM) and configuration management (CM) of MBSE artifacts.

Requirements

Active DoD SECRET clearance (minimum); U.S. citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
Expert knowledge of MBSE methodologies and frameworks and expertise in MBSE tools.
Proficiency in UML (Universal Modeling Language).

Master's or Doctorate degree (preferred education per the labor category).
Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Rational Rhapsody, DOORS, and Teamwork Cloud.
