To support PBWM with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Support with day-to-day Private Bank and Wealth Management initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution with regards to accounts, products and services.
- Support the management of the banks client relations to clearly identify their needs and provide a service that meets expectations.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Private Bank and Wealth Management processes.
- Development and implementation of Private Bank and Wealth Management procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on Private Bank and Wealth Management performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Private Bank and Wealth Management Services.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Private Bank and Wealth Management efficiency and effectiveness.
- To perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.

Join us as a Client Due Diligence (CDD) Quality Assurance Analyst at Barclays on an eight-month fixed-term contract, working within a collaborative team responsible for reviewing Private Banking client files across the full client lifecycle. In this role, you will analyse CDD, KYC customer documentation, assess transactions and account activity, verify that evidence is complete and accurate, and identify documentation gaps, control failures, complex ownership structures and financial crime red flags. You will carry out quality assessments and sampling against internal standards, service level agreements and regulatory requirements, working closely with Financial Crime, Second Line of Defence, bankers and other business stakeholders to escalate complex risks and communicate quality assurance findings.
To be successful as a CDD Quality Assurance Analyst, you must have the following essential skills:
- Extensive experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, CDD/KYC operations or Financial Crime investigations within banking.
- Strong analytical skills to review Private Banking documents, transactions and account activity, identifying gaps, unusual patterns and financial crime red flags.
- Ability to assess CDD, KYC and high-risk customer files, including complex ownership structures, against internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of AML, counter-terrorist financing and sanctions, with the ability to document findings and escalate complex risks clearly.
- Experience conducting quality assessments and sampling against internal standards, service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to communicate findings and collaborate with Financial Crime, Second Line of Defence and business stakeholders.

- Experience within Private Banking or Wealth Management, with exposure to complex client structures and higher-risk profiles.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify recurring documentation or control issues and recommend practical enhancements.
