Manage and grow client relationships and acquire new clients - identifying and managing solutions to meet a wide range of client needs

Join us as a Relationship Manager within our Crown Dependencies team based in Jersey.
The Crown Dependencies business offers a range of banking, credit and investment management solutions. Supporting Fiduciary clients and their underlying global clients from Jersey with relevant solutions through relationship-led service, online channels and product specialists.
As a Relationship Manager, you will act as a trusted adviser to multi-national fiduciary clients, delivering exceptional sales and business performance while maintaining sound risk management and building long-term internal and external relationships. Working with colleagues globally, you will provide banking, investment, and other services to ensure a holistic and high-quality client experience.
Relationship Managers are expected to proactively manage and grow client relationships, identify commercial opportunities, and partner with specialists to deliver tailored solutions. You will engage with senior client stakeholders, understand their evolving needs, and help deliver revenue and asset growth in line with business objectives.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of relationships with multi-national fiduciary clients, acting as a trusted adviser
- Deliver banking, investment, and related services in partnership with global colleagues and specialists
- Provide holistic solutions across banking, investments, foreign exchange and wealth structuring including trusts
- Maintain regular proactive contact with clients and respond quickly to client queries and needs
- Build a strong understanding of each client’s business, strategy, and financial requirements
- Identify and convert commercial opportunities for long-term client and business value
- Engage with senior leadership teams within client organisations to anticipate future business needs
- Negotiate pricing and determine the most suitable products and services for clients
- Acquire new clients through referrals, introducer networks, and broader relationship development
- Construct credit proposals, including risk analysis and mitigation, for specialist sanction
- Ensure high standards of client service, product delivery, and operating model compliance
- Support the end-to-end client experience and contribute to business and change initiatives
- Deliver revenue and asset growth in line with individual and team targets
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Previous experience within financial services
- Strong track record in client relationship management and delivering high-quality client outcomes
- Strong relationship-building, communication and influencing skills across a broad stakeholder group
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and negotiate effectively
- Sound understanding of operating in a highly regulated environment
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
- Sound understanding of trust and company structures
- Logical and structured approach to delivering outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels
