We are looking for an experienced energy specialist to help lead and grow our advisory business across Spain and Portugal. This is an opportunity to become a recognised voice in the Iberian energy market, build trusted relationships with senior industry leaders, and lead high-impact work for utilities, developers, investors, lenders and other participants across the energy value chain.

You will shape our Iberian market proposition, originate and lead complex advisory engagements, strengthen our market insight and modelling capabilities, and help build a high-performing team in Madrid. The role suits someone who combines deep power-market expertise with commercial judgement, senior client credibility and the ambition to grow a distinctive advisory business. If you want to be part of an entrepreneurial environment and help make a difference to our business, your opportunity is now.

We are looking for experienced power market specialists focused on the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal). The ideal candidate will have experience in several of the following areas:

  • Professional experience: 8+ years' relevant professional experience in the energy sector, gained in market or commercial advisory, consulting, an energy company, a developer or IPP, a trading or analytics function, or an investor or lender. • Modelling and analytics: Comfort with fundamentals-based market modelling and revenue analysis, and the ability to challenge, interpret and communicate model outputs credibly to senior audiences, and participate in internal modelling methodology working groups.
  • Relationship building: Experience building trusted client relationships, operate effectively in client-facing environments and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Skills and competencies: Experience in project management, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, business acumen, analytical capability, and excellence in people management and career development.

  • Ways of working: Flexibility and the ability to manage different priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Languages: Professional fluency in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

We report our progress publicly and ensure that we are also externally assessed and scored through organisations like CDP and EcoVadis - helping us to continually identify where we can improve.

We have a long legacy of supporting the communities in which we work, and offer a variety of ways to contribute, by putting people first and creating impact that lasts. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda is about giving back to the communities in which we live and work by sharing our skills, talent and time. In essence, we aim to empower and encourage everyone in the firm to contribute to the things we care about, and support registered charities and organisations with a clear social or environmental purpose to increase the positive impact they can have.
