Social Community Specialist

Barkera Corp. is a company dedicated to education, advocacy, research, and dissemination of information that contributes to creating unity throughout the Pet Community. We seek passionate individuals who love Pets and the overarching Pet Industry. We are currently looking for Social Media Experts who can build social strategies, establish goals and tasks, moderate assigned groups, develop content, and communicate with experts and drive the overall experience to support the company's mission at a group level. Public Platforms are defined as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Tik Tok etc. Private Platforms are owned and managed by Barker Technologies We would recommend a commitment of at least 4 hours per week along with daily monitoring. This is a work-from-anyplace position with flexible hours you choose. Requirements Typical duties would be: Engage with our online communities by maintaining our social media accounts integrity Research & suggest strategies to generate quality content viewership value for the group Create the group(s) personalized mission as it supports Barkera's Mission Develop goals both weekly, monthly, and quarterly to present to the management team Assign Tasks to the Group Moderators (Administrator Only) Assist with writing and posting organizational-related articles to reach goals Work closely with industry experts associated with Barkera to produce relevant content Post daily (posts) articles to support the group's mission along with developing a schedule Ensure posts are relevant to the specific group's objectives Create or promote content to support Barkera's Services including Training Courses, Events, Panels, and Live Discussions and Products Host challenges, contests, and approaches to engage the community Create or push out announcements, update group photos, look for duplicate content, like and comment on every post Closely monitor the group for poor content, scammers, or inappropriate behaviors Scrutinize member profiles, welcome new members Attend meetings with group leaders and Management Monitor Group(s) performance against goals, Identity issues report to Management Censor Content for accuracy following Barkera's Content Curation Policy Perform related Marketing activities/efforts to introduce and promote the "Elevated Pet Owners" Onboard other candidates with similar interests to Barkera's team Extra: Love for the Pet Industry Professional and Drama Free social profile on public platforms Background in communications/marketing or currently moderating social media groups Ability to work independently and within a team environment Strong computer and research skills Strong interest in and knowledge of social media Recommended: bachelor’s in marketing or related field preferred Impeccable oral and written communication skills Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snap, Tik Tok and Google+ Analytic and reporting knowledge is a plus Experience with Photoshop or other digital editing programs is a plus Ability to participate in management discussions and meetings An individual must exhibit professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation and enhances productivity in the workplace. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of personnel at all levels. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area. This is an unpaid opportunity.
